Touching Lives Foundation began with something simple: a desire to help.
In Zambia, a mother and daughter began purchasing food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies for homes caring for children living with disabilities.
What started as a personal effort grew into a deeper commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
We began visiting schools and supporting awareness initiatives that educated young girls about child sexual abuse, personal safety, and the importance of speaking up and reporting abuse.
Eventually, our journey took us to the United States.
But moving away from Zambia did not mean moving away from the people we cared about.
Instead, it created an opportunity to build bridges between two countries.
We began collecting mobility equipment and exploring ways to get wheelchairs and other resources to people in Zambia who needed them.
Today, we are building on that foundation.
Our vision is to develop meaningful partnerships with organizations on the ground and help address specific challenges faced by children and adults living with disabilities, as well as the caregivers who support them.

What We Do
01 - Mobility & Assistive Equipment
We support access to mobility equipment for people living with disabilities.
As we grow, our goal is to help individuals with more complex disabilities access properly assessed and customized mobility and positioning equipment suited to their individual needs.
This may include specialized equipment for children and adults living with conditions such as cerebral palsy and other complex disabilities.
02 - Specialized Healthcare Access
Our future vision includes helping connect beneficiaries with qualified healthcare professionals who understand the specific needs of people living with disabilities.
Through partnerships, we hope to support appropriate follow-up care and access to professional guidance.
03 - Caregiver & Nutrition Support
Caring for a child or adult with a complex disability can be challenging.
We envision working with qualified professionals and organizations to provide parents and caregivers with practical education around nutrition, feeding, and other aspects of disability care.
04 - Safer Living Environments
Sometimes, a relatively small project can make a major difference.
We want to support partner organizations with projects that improve safety and accessibility—for example, helping a children's home construct a secure perimeter wall or fence or make other necessary improvements to its environment.

We believe in being honest about where we are while remaining bold about where we want to go.
Our goal is to build strong partnerships, establish trusted networks, mobilize resources, and gradually expand our ability to serve people living with disabilities in Zambia.
We may not be able to do everything today—but together, we can build toward a future where more people have access to the support they need.
