Our Story
It Started With a Mother and Daughter Who Wanted to Help.
Touching Lives Foundation began in 2020 in Zambia, with a simple desire shared by a mother and daughter: to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs.
Our journey began at the Home of Happiness in Lusaka, a home caring for children living with disabilities. We started by purchasing and donating essential items such as food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to homes supporting children with disabilities.

Our Impact
Providing Mobility Equipment
We raise funds and collect mobility equipment to support vulnerable people living with disabilities in Zambia, particularly individuals and families who may otherwise struggle to access the equipment they need.
Supporting Children with Disabilities
Our long-term vision is to expand support for children living with complex disabilities, including cerebral palsy, through specialized equipment, personal-care supplies, medical assistance, and developmental support.
Empowering Girls & Young Women
Through initiatives such as our annual Girls Vision Board seminars, we create spaces where girls and young women can learn, build confidence, explore opportunities, and envision a better future.
Supporting Families & Caregivers
We believe disability support should include the whole family. Our vision includes providing caregivers with education, emotional support, psychological counseling, and practical resources.
